To serve customers better, Autodesk are moving completely to plans based on people instead of serial numbers, and announcing the following changes:
- Introducing new plans for named users, tailored to the size and needs of our customers
- Retiring all plans relying on serial numbers and offering new trade-in offers
- Changing prices to encourage renewals and trade-ins
Why should we used Named User instead of Serial Number?

(*) For plan based on the Serial Number, the license will be activated for each machine, if the user does not use that machine, it will waste the license and the downtime for license occurs.For plan based on Named Users, users can "sign in" to use the license when they want and any member can sign in with their account without remembering the Serial Number.
